Among the fascinating revelations to emerge from Sam Lutfi's defamation trial against Britney Spears' parents is the news that he's working with Courtney Love on a Broadway show about her life with Kurt Cobain.

Sadly, the fact that Love is collaborating with Lutfi — best known as the guy who made excuses for Britney's nuttiest moments in 2007 — indicates that it'll probably never happen.

"[Love and I] are currently working on a possible motion picture or Broadway musical based on the Nirvana catalogue, based on her life and Kurt Cobain's," Lutfi testified this week He later backpedaled, explaining that the plans were just "an idea.

" Lutfi has been co-managing Love for the past several months, which explains why Courtney so often tweets about Britney's conservatorship. Back in 2009, Love even alleged via Facebook, that Spears' father had sexually abused his daughter.

There is, of course, a major problem with Love and Lutfi's plan: Courtney lost the rigths to Kurt Cobain's image a long time ago. She'd have to convince her estranged daughter Frances Bean to sign on, and that's probably not happening.
