El actor y la cantante pop de 27 años se casaron en octubre de 2010 en una reserva de tigres en India.

Hasta hace poco Brand era desconocido en Estados Unidos y esperaba tener algunos admiradores al conducir los MTV Video Music Awards. Ahora se ha convertido en toda una celebridad y estrena películas casi cada fin de semana.
